One of the most requested emulators sees the dawn of day at last … with thanks and full creds to xzakox!
Hi! This a fresh port of the stella 2.3.5 to dingux, it has some hacks, but it seems to work nicely. As usual... put it in your SD Card under local/whatever and add an entry to your dmenu like: MenuItem Stella { Icon = "/usr/local/emus/stella/stella.png" Name = "Stella" Executable = "./stella" WorkDir = "/usr/local/emus/stella" Selector = no }

-------- Changes: -------- 0.1 - First release, seems working
---- INFO ----
Controls: Usual joypad up, down, left right, and A button. In menus, L jumps from control to control, A selects, and B cancels. L shows option menu. Start shows commands menu. Select to quit. Roms: As there isn't (yet) a standard directory for roms, the browser starts searching at /usr/local/ ... put them where you want. Roms must have the .bin extension

Yes! I can play berserk again!
ReplyDeletejust set it up yesterday. For a first version the speed is great with a little slow down occasionally. As for the games I tried compatibility was about 75%. No complaints here. Just enjoying mouse trap, cosmic arc, and donkey kong. This was the first game system I ever played and it is still great.
ReplyDeleteLove it!! I can't play my favorite game though.
ReplyDeleteRiverRaid does not play. Other than that it ROCKS!
Awesome!!! I've been waiting on this one!! Great job!!!! This was my first game console.
