Booboo speaks … new Gemei 760+ due out end of May 2011

New Gemei X760+In the comments of the previous post Neno provided the following link:
So I asked ChinaChip. That is the upcoming Gemei X760+ (yes, same name than the old x760+, fun!), and the specs in the linked page are wrong. It's due out by the end of May according to ChinaChip.
It's CC1800 based, same SoC than in the Gemei A330. LCD is 4.3" 480x272. I like the wealth of controls in the lower side.
Unfortunately work on the CC1800 has been slow. It's no fun to write code based on other code with no comments and no programmer's manual, plus I recently got sponsoring for porting dingux to a JZ4755 based device (can't say much about that at the moment), which will be eating up absolutely all of my spare time for the next couple of months. As I already said, I'm not happy being the bottleneck here, so I asked ChinaChip to let me disclose the informatio…

Diyomate X9 XMAME 1080P Full HD Internet TV Box!

Another pretty decent box that does, well, everything – and reputedly has XMAME on it too! All for the princely sum of Only one question: how do you control the frakking games? Perhaps that remote is really a WiiMote …

Games are playable on the Diyomate X9. It has XMAME built-in.
I've found a page (which I can't post here) showing 3 screen shots of MAME games being played on this product. There's also a screen shot showing XMAME selectable from the product's menu.
Further information on the "game functionality" of this product ... here's a quote I found (Google translation from Chinese to English - I presume "U disk" in the translation means a USB external hard disk) :
"In order to meet the needs of the majority of gamers, X9 joined the games. X9 support many classic games, without having to install, through the U disk…

Vectrex emulator for Dingux

Vecx-DinguxToday at 03:54:49 AM by qbertaddictFinally a vectrex emulator for Dingux!QuoteTranslated from Google
Hello, this is my porting vecx Dingux for a Vectrex emulator on linux jhawthorn.
I helped Dingoo-vecx who had been brought on by nzeemin native bone.
the archive contains some Roma and overlay the right size.
When installing the emulator to do use the "file browser" in order to launch your roms.
overlays are in the same folder as the roms must be validated on the 2nd file when you select the Roma run (I do not know if I am very clear on this ...).
Otherwise the basic keys
a / b / x / y "fire"
up / down / left / right
select to leave
the emulator runs at a speed suitable time to launch the game is a bit long, a small overclock does not hurt
I intend to add sound in the second version, but I'm afraid it's too slow emulator to do so…
