Firmware 1.20 seen in the wild, fixes Y/B problem
Firmware 1.20 has been spotted in the Dingoonity forums.
According to two posters, lak and onion, it fixes the Y/B problem. It also comes with 9 languages.
The 1.20 firmware cannot be downloaded from the official Dingoo site yet, but hopefully it will soon.
Update: Here is the firmware link http://www.megaupload.com/?d=F6TJRG2F
Awesome news! Now I can finally play Total Carnage!
ReplyDeleteHopefully the homebrew apps/emulators for the native firmware play nice with it (i.e. no freezing on exiting)
so this will be an official release from Dingoo and not some CFW right? I love the CFW but hate that the FM radio is always a mess after the CFW install.
ReplyDeleteno download link yet?
ReplyDeleteOk guys the forums have been abuzz about this new firmware seen in the wild the elusive 1.20 Official Dingoo Digital A320 Firmware well I caught him I did I did.
ReplyDeleteThanks to my connections at Dingoo Digital China as a reseller they provided me a copy before it is posted on the Dingoo Digital China website. Don't ask me when it will be posted on their site I have no clue the actual Dingoo Digital China website is hacked all the time so who knows when it will get posted there.
So enjoy the new firmware from the rumor mill it seems to fix the y & x button bug and the codec issue with video stalling while playing and last but not least more languages. I don't know I haven't tested it yet as I'm typing this and posting it to everyone else can have it....

Installed it and it works, but the SNES emulator on Dingux runs so well now anyways. I guess it's good for the guys without Dingux though. Can't believe they finally fixed it...
ReplyDeleteShould I reinstall dualboot after this firmware update ? Anyone can confirm, that it is compatible with dingux dual-boot installer, even if reinstallation is needed ?

ReplyDeleteThe Y/B issue was a a small flaw with loud complaints.
It was a thorn in the side of the Dingoo, and it has now been removed.
Play on, brothers and sisters.
Oh warriors of light and electricity.
Unfettered.
Sorry,mp3 player is old...
ReplyDeleteSnes emulator FIX??????? Please!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteA Snes emulator fix for native would require a new SFC.SIM not a firmware. :P
ReplyDeleteSorry, I'm a total noob, how do you reinstall the new firmware?
ReplyDeleteDid the guys with the new firmware checked the snes emu? Because we could miss something here...
ReplyDeleteCOPY A320.HFX to dingoo press down arrow and reboot=)Clear?
ReplyDeleteNEW SFC.SIM FIX???!!! Please Dingoo Team!!! Please!!!
ReplyDeleteI installed the 1.2 firmware over the existing 1.11. It went fine (other than stumbling through the menus to change it from Mandarin back to English) but I haven't seen any improvements. Some folks have said it improves video playback but I haven't seen that.
ReplyDeleteThe emulators that comes with the new dingoos with the 1.20 firmware are the same as the old ones.
