Dealextreme starts selling Gemei x760
The Dingoo’s older, now somewhat less capable half-cousin, the Gemei x760, is now available for sale on Dealextreme! Click here to buy one, and I’ll get more of those strangely compelling but mostly useless DX points!
This, of course, the same Ingenic Chipset based machine Booboo has been trying to buy from MP4 nation (and they’ve sucked at actually selling him one) so that he can work on Linux for it.
So, if you badly want one, DX might take forever sometimes, but they always deliver in the end.
LOL Dingoo looks alot more "Nintendo".
ReplyDeleteI bet its more boring and less retro to play on that
Lack of shoulder buttons would be the main concern, I'd think.
ReplyDeleteBut it does look a lot more SEGA. ;)
Lack of shoulder buttons plus select and start. That's 4 buttoms less than the Dingoo...
ReplyDeleteIt's a pretty hot looking device. It's nice and curvy, sturdy looking too.
ReplyDeleteWhy are you advertising for DX?
ReplyDeleteThis is NOT real news. ugh!
.....credibility dropping.
@Why am I advertising? For the LED pigs, dude, for the LED pigs.
ReplyDeleteAh......ok!
ReplyDeleteI see the method to the madness now! lolol!
It IS news, since its newly available at DX, it wasnt there a week ago!
ReplyDeleteHeavens to mergatroid, NOT THE CREDIBILITY!
ReplyDelete(Have you seen the crap going on in the chat lately? Get the porno spammers in the chat under control, then worry about credibility in the posts about toys.)
this is relevant as itll prompt alot more development if the x760 is available and dingux is ported. whats the problem here?
ReplyDeleteI'll never buy anything from DX anymore, because the customer service is the worst I have ever seen. I recommend buying from chinavasion since they ship the dingoo the same day you order it!
ReplyDeleteIt`s not DX fault that there is not enough of dingoo out there to sell. People buy like crazy there because of the free shipping option. XD
ReplyDeleteBut wait and see chinavasion will be the same when most of the people go from DX to there.
The fact it was not in stock wasn't a problem. The problem is they respond slowly and poorly to trouble tickets and adding insult to injury: I ordered it 2 months ago and was still waiting while people that ordered a few days ago did get their dingoo shipped.
ReplyDeleteIs the Chinavasion Dingoo actually a Dingoo? Can it run Dingux, PSFreedom etc?
