Gbax.com say they are getting things moving …
The A320 is a cool little mini open handheld which is
especially good for emulating classic systems such as GBA,
NES, Neo-Geo, CPS, Sega etc.
It can be thought of as a faster, smaller GP2X, the manufacturer is hoping it will have a similar following.
We are working on getting MAME, Amiga and Atari working, together with setting up a developing scene for this device.
430Mhz MIPS CPU
64MB RAM
Support for SD / SDHC upto 32GB
Open Source /SDK available
Digital Dpad, 2 shoulder, 4 face, Start & Select.
Li-ion Battery giving ~7hours (Included)
Nice Gbax.com! All the best, and please share any news you might have on this.
i wish it supported up to 32 gigs but it only takes 8gb cards
ReplyDeletei want a mastersystem emulator! shouldnt be to hard.
ReplyDeleteMaster System is already available, its done via an existing GBA emu. Gotta think out the box at the moment until someone creates one specifically for the Dingoo.

Shouldn't be to hard? Do you actually know to code in C or C++? :) If it is really running MicroC/OS II, then it's harder then you think, because you have to take care of lots of stuff yourself, it's nothing like Linux. You'll have to (re)write quite a bit of code.
ReplyDeletei have order one of this nice machine!
ReplyDeleteis very cool and cheap
Somebody has tested 16 or 32 GB micro-sd card?
ReplyDeleteIn a post on this forum, there is an open dingoo and you can see 2 modules of 128Mbit, ie 2 modules 16MBytes, unless the board is double sided and could have another 2 modules in the bottom side. If someone can verify it would be nice.
Otherwise the information in gbax.com may be mistaken.
If enough people got together and contributed to a "bounty" maybe we could get some good stuff ported over. I would be interested in contributing to that for some of these...
ReplyDeleteTG16
SegaCD
improvements on snes and/or genesis
Mame
PS1 (It's reaching I know, but there were some good 2d games for ps1..I don't see why those couldn't be achieved without 3d hardware)
and
Scummvm
If enough people would lay out $10 or $20 there might be enough to entice some good development.
That specifications are false, real are:
ReplyDelete400MHZ
32MB RAM
And the emulation of SMS throught GBA is very bad, too slow, it´s not a solution.
^ someone who understands :]
ReplyDeleteI would kill for PS1 emulation to be able to play Chrono Cross and the Final Fantasy games. I'm not sure if this thing can handle it or not though.
ReplyDeleteGP2x has a PS1 emulator and it is a less powerful machine. See here...
