What are you doing on your weekend?

Lots of anticipation over dualboot, of course. Nothing final to report yet, but here's a link from the Google Code linux page on the status of development: http://code.google.com/p/dingoo-linux/updates/list

Last update at the time of this post - 80 minutes or so ago. I'd say, stand by.

  1. Two interesting things I saw were access to internal storage and battery level reading. Besides dualboot, that's pretty awesome.

  2. cant wait.

does anyone know if it will be possible to play the scummvm port on this dual bootable linux?

i know chatoic bob linked the source, but i have no idea if that means it will be playable when this dual boot hits.

  3. Hey Mike,

I'm waiting for ScummVM as well. I don't think it'll work straight from the beginning, but I guess it won't be long before a developer makes it possible. With Linux running, development becomes way easier (or so I'm told, I have no skills in this department) Can't wait to play Monkey Island again :D

  4. Youri, ScummVM is already working on the dingoo. Chaotic bob ported it, and released the source. I'm assuming what we need is just a menu system and an easy way of installing it.

  5. Luckily (or not) I've got plenty to occupy until this stuff is released.

Work today, yard work and house stuff tomorrow.
    (Grownup crap)

    sigh

  6. Youri and Mike, ScummVM will work as soon as Dingoo Linux is released, dual boot or not its the same. You might need to compile it yourself, but thats not hard, and I can make a guide for you if no one else does(once its released).
