How to easily update/remove the built in emulators in the Yinlips YDPG18 – no need for titanium backup any more!
How to easily update/remove the built in emulators in the Yinlips YDPG18 You still need to Root your Yinlips, but there is no need for titanium backup anymore! This is a quick tutorial on how to rename some of the lib files that stop you from updating the stock emulators on your YINLIPS YDPG18. Thanks goes to Elta for finding this fix ans sharing it with the community. You can follow the yinlips thread and his post here:http://boards.dingoonity.org/other-game-systems/new-opensource-console-announced-the-rg/240/ 24 Jan 2012 update: The easiest way to fix all of the above now is to update to bitrider’s new firmware, and to wipe all apps from the recovery console. Installing bitrider’s new firmware cleans up the library issues instantly. |
After renaming the lib*.so file can we just install a new emulator.apk?
ReplyDeleteShould we clear any cache or setting files?
i rooted the device, and renamed the libfpse.so from the system dir.
ReplyDeletebut i couldn,t unistall the emulator neither update.
what i m missing here?
Same here...
DeleteSeems the .so files in lib folder are not involved at all in emulator processes!
