APPETIZER TUTORIAL: PROGRAMMING WITH LOVE (NLOVE) ( http://www.dingoobr.com/tutorial-aperitivo-programando-com-love-nlove/#more-4653 )
Introduction Lately, I've noticed a great interest of the owners of dingoes, particularly members of the forum dingoobr in programs for the device. A proof is the large number of comments and hits to our littletutorial on how to build applications for Dingux . This post was written some time ago, and from there to here, a lot has changed and there were few alternatives to programming hardcore C / C + +.Among the new options we may mention the library in Python Pygame , carried by Brazilian Eric Garden, and the engine LOVE, carried by under the name of sience nLove . |

scummvm 1.3.1 dingux
| ScummVM has been updated to version 1.3.1 called "All Your Pitches".
Quote We are proud to announce a maintenance release of the ScummVM 1.3.x series. This release has a number of fixes, mainly related to audio. Also, several games had slipped past testing for 1.3.0 and turned out to be no longer completable. They have now been fixed, so if you want to play Discworld, Inherit the Earth: Quest for the Orb, I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream, or play FM-TOWNS SCUMM games on mobile devices or consoles, we highly recommend that you upgrade. scummvm-1.3.1-dingux |

Coccijoe posts BennuGD Engine for Dingux!
|
CocciJoe posted in Russian Dingoo site the link for a game engine BennuGD and some links to games based on it http://dingoo.forumactif.net/t2592-bennugd The beta version is available for bennuGd Dingux, for the moment without her, but it is expected to be many new games under Dingux. I have not tried, I test and I made a small return. Download it here Edit: ok it looks to test run:http://www.gp32spain.com/foros/attachment.php?attachmentid=22644&stc=1&d=1297361839 Copy bennugd-runtime 3dengine demo in game and then start 3denginedemo . dpe it launches a demo to check the operation I will test it with games now but I guess it needs some modification, we will games freefall Epic Solitaire (select the virtual mouse) SmallBall Skylark To use the games, check bennugd-runtime is in / game and run the file. dge found in the archives as with any other games in Dingux What is Bennu? Bennu, a Fenix fork from Fenix 0.93, is an interpreted programming language aimed at making games. It is designed in such a way, the graphical, sound and threading systems are easier to use, which makes Bennu a powerful language, not only for beginners, but also for experienced programmers. The BennuGD core is completely portable, it can be compiled for any platform, given there is a C compiler for it. The core contains the compiler, interpreter and runtime library. Bennu Modules use SDL for many of the basic functionality. Because of this, even the BennuGD modules are portable to many operating systems: Windows, Linux, GP2X Wiz, BeOS/Haiku, MacOS X, even consoles and handhelds like Dreamcast, GP2x or Wii. This makes it much fun to code in Bennu: your games can be played on your console, without modification! |

Anyone for Raspberry Pi?
Heard about this new device today – a low cost ARM PC called the Raspberry Pi:
| http://www.raspberrypi.org/ Over the past three months, we’ve been working hard to finalize the specs for the Raspberry Pi device, and to produce schematics and a PCB layout. Last Tuesday, we sent an alpha release of the board for manufacture. From an electrical perspective, this board is intended to be identical to the final device; the resulting units will be used to validate the schematic design, and will serve as our interim software development platform. Raspberry Pi alpha PCB Key differences between the alpha and final boards are:
The ICs used in the design are an ARM-based application processor (center) and an SMSC LAN9512 USB 2.0 hub and 10/100 Ethernet controller (right and down from center). The SDRAM is mounted on top of the application processor in a PoP configuration. Following the example of the BBC Micro, we intend to launch both a Model A device (lacking the LAN9512, and with 128MB of RAM) at the $25 price point, and a Model B device (including the LAN9512, and with 256MB of RAM) for a $5-10 additional cost. We remain confident of shipping before the end of 2011. Check back in a couple of weeks to see how the alpha boards turned out. |

Dendy (NES Emulator) on A320
This appears to be a Russian NES Emulator – more information on where to get this emulator please, someone?
The console it emulates seems to be this one:
And check out this dubious link *R*cough*OMS*.
Strip for Dingoo Entry 7 …
… very little (OK, none. Does none work for you?) obvious stripping, but I realised I was being tested! This poster is a homage to the 70s Spanish film “Los bingueros” which featured none other than Ursula Andress (Row 4, Column 3; Row 4, Column 3!), after all:
(And doesn’t the guy on the left looks like Vince Colosimo)
BTW, full marks to Marcos FrMn for entering, but next time, not so subtle, OK?:)
