NeoPop-SDL Proof-of-Concept
This morning Zear and I (mostly Zear ;]) managed to get NeoPop-SDL (a Neo-Geo Pocket/Color emu) to compile statically and run straight away. Currently it runs slow, without sound and with graphical artifacts outside of emulation, but it does run (games are emulated just fine). If you'd like to take it for a test run you can grab the executable here, or if you'd like to help take it out of it's POC status you can download the source here. Hopefully all of us (or rather the few of us who had them) will soon be re-living fond memories of past handheld joy. =]
Dingoo-digital.com is really weird. There's barely any "news" anymore, and there's a crapload of people who need. I can see them not getting Linux to work, but anything else is just pathetic.
ReplyDeleteyou can try to help them with the news...
ReplyDeleteThe people behind the site does not care about posting news.. but thanks for the forum is there.. many of the news does come from there!
ReplyDeletelol, off-topic much?
ReplyDeleteCool. What I know about coding can be written on a fag packet, but hopefully this will get running properly. I had a NGPC and it was extremely underrated.
ReplyDeleteMe too, I agree =D The fighters were great & it had the best version of puzzle bobble I've played to date. Good joystick too. It's too bad it didn't take off, lack of third-party devs & the gba nailed the coffin.
