Dodgin’ Diamonds 2 for Dingux has been released … it’s a shooter with a good range of power ups by the looks of it.  Thanks darfgarf!

UPDATE: i've gone through the code to try and speed it up a bit, in short, it won't, will experiment with overclocking before startup when i get time (if someone knows how to overclock from inside dingux, please say)
+1 ported game, this still needs quite a bit of work, but it's at the playable stage, so have a play and report any bugs (i know about slowdowns and the graphics glitch at the bottom of the screen)

select goes back

a:fire
select+L+R:quit
select+X:pause
select+Y:screenshot (saves in the same folder as the excecutable
just extract it somewhere and ./dd2 however you want

The nice folk at isharegifts gracefully sent me a sample Dingoo A380 for review. A somewhat new game for Dingux from ZX-81: Dingux-Mancala: A Mancala Game v1.1.0 for Dingoo/Dingux Hi All, Mancala is a board game familly, originated in East Africa. The word "Mancala" came from arabic word "naqalah" that means literaly "To move". Tauon PC-1 review

You should give this a chance. It deserves one. Welcome to the Tauon PC-1. A Tauon is an incredibly  geeky sciency thing , as it happens, and has nothing to do with the  Great Eastern Philosopher . You won't find it for sale anywhere other than on Tauon's website , and on ebay so far as I can see,  and then only if you're a regular visitor of the ebay "vintage computer hardware" category.  It won't even turn up on ebay if you search for the product name: "Tauon PC1"  - you'll just stumble upon it one day, when you're looking for a replacement floppy drive, or a C64.  So, what is it? It's a computer in a dinky little case!
